A natural musician - he starred in the Beatles-based "Across the Universe" - Anderson worked on three projects in one year - "The River", "The Grey" and "Breaking Dawn".

In less than a week, he went from minus 40 temperatures in Canada to scorching heat in Puerto Rico.

The former was for "The Grey," a drama about a group of airplane crash survivors fighting off wolves. The latter, a role in "The River," a new ABC drama about a wildlife expert who goes missing.

"Throw in 'Twilight' and it was a pretty interesting year," Anderson says with a smile.

And then? Then there's "Breaking Dawn," the last two parts of the "Twilight" saga. In the vampire drama, Anderson plays Alistair, a particularly complex vampire who intercedes for the Cullens. The actor read the books, saw the early films and "tried to absorb as much as I could" but knew he'd never be as savvy about the character as some of the popular books' fans.

No sweat. "It's nice to play against the grain of the film," Anderson says. "He can do what he wants because he is who he is."

The 29-year-old British-born actor, however, didn't realize the devotion of "Twilight's" fan base.

"I hadn't even arrived at the motel and already there was fan mail. They figured out where I was going to be - and I didn't even know. But every one of those letters was so genuine and so sweet."

The creepy stuff? That was saved for other actors. "A woman was standing outside the Sutton Place in Vancouver with a pair of scissors. She had flown from England to cut some of Robert Pattinson's hair for a doll."

"Breaking Dawn - Part II" (slated for release in the fall) came with such high financial stakes "tension was ripe," Anderson says. "There's not a lot of rehearsal. So before a scene with Kristen (Stewart) I had to gun up the character from the trailer to the stage. It's the first time you see this guy come to life. But until you get the gear on, you're not quite sure what he's going to be."

Kristen Stewart teamed up with her Snow White and the Huntsman costars Chris Hemsworth and Charlize Theron for a photo shoot in LA today. Kristen arrived in a casual hoodie and later changed into a plaid shirt to pose with her leading man, Chris. The trio wrapped the film just before the holidays and since then they've all kept busy with new projects and well-deserved vacations.

On the Road is finished. Took one year to edit, and is very, very good. According to a discerning and in-the-know viewer, it's so good that it would not be a stretch to see it open Cannes. Producers are thrilled with the result & eager to at least have it there. There were no problems with film at; just awaiting the right moment to show and actively start seeking distribution.

I would say that you completely lose yourself in the purest form of romance. It's the first time in so long that you get to see such a strong love, and get so caught up in it without any of the physicality.

You've also been outspoken about your crush on Robert Pattinson. Have you gotten to meet him yet?
No, I have not met Rob. But, I have many mutual friends and have heard nothing but the loveliest things about him. I think he's a very talented actor and would love to meet him in the future.

If you could style any of the Twilight cast, who would you pick and why?
Bella and Edward - I would love to dress them as a couple because I think that's always fun.

On Thursday, Jan. 26 in Los Angeles, Kristen Stewart (Snow White), Charlize Theron (the evil Queen Ravenna) and Chris Hemsworth (the Huntsman) will participate in a brand-new edition of Moviefone's Unscripted for "Snow White and the Huntsman" - meaning you can them anything about the highly anticipated fairytale flick.

Meeting Kristen Stewart: "It was instantly amazing," says Snow White costar Charlize Theron

Kristen Stewart and Charlize Theron may play rivals in Snow White and the Huntsman, but it's so not like that in real life.

The two didn't first meet until after they both signed on to the movie... "We met on a plane going to Comic-Con," Theron told me at the BAFTA Los Angeles tea party at the Four Seasons Hotel. "You know when you meet someone and it's effortless? It was instantly amazing."

"We couldn't shut up," she continued. "The plane landed and they were like, 'Get off the plane' and we were going on and on."

It was the same on set. "I think we both love what we do and we came to play," Theron said.

Yeah, but what happened when it came to their fight scenes? We imagine the "total bitch" Evil Queen got to kick Stewart's Snow White's butt. Or maybe not. Theron teased, "It's more like what Kristen does to me."

Balenciagas creative director Nicolas Ghesquière kallade Stewart musan för den nya doften. Twilight Saga film studio Summit Entertainment has announced that starting in February, special wedding edition Barbie Dolls of Edward and Bella on their wedding day - as seen in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 - will be available for purchasing.

Twitter is abuzz with speculation that Kristen Stewart will attend Wednesday's People's Choice Awards. Though she's not one of the previously announced celebrity guests, an audience placard for Stewart was curiously shown on Tuesday night's "Entertainment Tonight". In the clip, the seating arrangement has Stewart sitting next to her boyfriend and Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson.

So, is Stewart really going to be at the People's Choice Awards? Nope.

A source close to the star tells Gossip Cop exclusively that the pictured seating chart is "bulls**t". The insider says they wanted "a headshot of [Stewart] for a skit," but it’s unclear whether they'll actually be doing the skit or not.

Regardless, while Pattinson is attending the awards show to support his nomination for Water For Elephants, Stewart was never scheduled to appear and will not be there.

That's what you have to ask them. But yes, they are super open, super friendly.

Carolina Herrera: Kristen Stewart was "moved" by the "Breaking Dawn" wedding dress

We knew the gown Carolina Herrera created specifically for the Breaking Dawn wedding took six months to design and that it left Robert Pattinson floored, but in the new issue of Town & Country Weddings, the designer reveals Kristen Stewart's very personal reaction.

"We did three fittings. When she initially put on the dress and looked over her shoulder into the mirror, she was very moved," Herrera tells the mag, on stands Wednesday. "In that moment she was not an actress or a character in a film but instead a bride, and a happy one at that."

The dress seen in the sketch is what the designer calls a "union between Stephenie [Meyer's] description in the book and the Herrera bridal aesthetic" - something she has been perfecting for 25 years.

"I took into consideration the character of Bella and Kristen's portrayal of her, and what this fantasy character would choose to wear for the most important day of her life," she explains of the masterpiece, which retails for $35,000. "It's made of a crepe satin with two inserts on the front and beautiful silk thread topstitching. The neckline is a slight V, just enough to see the collarbones. The back is oval-shaped, with a Chantilly lace border veiled in tulle. It's very romantic, and when all the details come together, it creates a vision specific to Bella's style and personality."

All of the Twilight films to date have hit theaters in the last five years, earning $2.5 billion at the global box office. While the Harry Potter series is mostly about Potter's journey, the Twilight franchise is centered on Stewart and Pattinson's characters, the human Bella and the vampire Edward. In the most recent movie they got married, with disastrous results. They'll have a chance to boost their earnings even more when the second part of the last book, Breaking Dawn, is released this coming November.

Reunited and it feels so good! After spending a low key New Years Eve together, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and of course their dog Bear have been spending the first part of 2012 hanging together along with some close friends.

However, Wednesday Kristen and Rob emerged for a date night at the Soho House West Hollywood. So what was their Twilight connection at the exclusive club last night?

New Moon director Chris Weitz held a screening for his critically acclaimed film A Better Life. Kristen and Taylor Lautner went the premiere this summer to support Chris, while Pattinson was away working. Sources confirm that Rob and Kristen, both casual and "happy together as usual" came out to support, and have some fun while at it! They were spotted laughing and chatting in the upstairs part of the members only club with a group of people. Glad these two are getting time together away from the paparazzi!

An excited Robsten fan at the event wrote on her Tumblr that she "nearly had a heart attack" when she saw them, adding, "They were with a group of people and so so cute! Kissing and holding hands. Ugh, I died."

Oh god, no! It's so not. I started shooting the film so there was more footage of me. But then Kristen took over. That's the only reason it was like that. She's amazing in the film.

Would you want to play a villain again? Was that fun?
I don't know. Like I said to you before I have never walked around with a specific charater I wanted to play. In a way I've kind of played three villains back to back. But they're such different people. I've explored different things with all three. I just want to tell good stories. That's truly all I want to do. I don't need to be the lead in them. I just want to be a part of something that I would want to go see in theaters. I don't know what that's going to be next.

Up until now, most of what people know about Cassady and Kerouac comes from Carolyn Cassady, Cassady’s second wife. Her memoirs shaped the 1980 film "Heart Beat", starring Nick Nolte as Cassady and Sissy Spacek as Carolyn.

The new film is more from the viewpoint of Lu Anne, Cassady's first wife. That is because Nicosia as the preeminent Kerouac scholar was hired as an advisor for "On The Road". When he played the tapes for actress Kristen Stewart, both he and the actress had some major revelations.

Stewart plays Marylou, who was 15 when she met Cassady. Marylou was a sweet 16 when they married, discounted as the stunning 16-year-old blond bimbo who Kerouac and Cassady shared, but otherwise was of little account.

[The book] "One And Only: The Untold Story of On the Road" strongly disputes that account, and portrays Lu Anne as as the glue that bound these two powerful characters. She molded their relationship, and thus was a major catalyst of American literature.

Carolyn portrayed her rival as a bimbo, but the new book, which Nicosia co-wrote with Lu Anne's daughter Anne Marie Santos, does not. She was no more a blond bimbo in real life than Marilyn Monroe was.

To be sure, a lot of serendipity was involved in how the story unfolded. Nicosia decided to play the interview for Stewart during a beat boot camp "On The Road" director Walter Salles set up in Montreal in the summer of 2010. Nicosia had recorded the hours-long interview with Lu Anne in 1978. For Stewart, she was looking for the rhythm of Lu Anne's language. For Nicosia, he realized that he had not really understood what Lu Anne was saying when he first recorded the interview.

"What we now know is that the dynamic duo of Kerouac and Cassady was actually a trio: Neal, Lu Anne, and Jack," he replied. "It was always assumed that these two guys, cultural outlaws, a kind of modern-day Butch Cassady and Sundance Kid, just magically found each other, combined forces, and started the Beat Generation.

"What we now know, thanks to Lu Anne's testimony, is that both these guys were enormously insecure and vulnerable, that they were very different (though both were misfits in post-World War II America), and that neither one liked or trusted the other when they met."

"It took the depth and insight of a woman's love, Lu Anne's, to allow them to see enough in each other's character, and in each other's heart, to begin to form the friendship that changed contemporary America. Without Lu Anne - the "necessary estrogen," as Kristen Stewart put it - the chemical reaction, the new and potent compound of Kerouac-Cassady, simply wouldn't have happened or existed. And without that compound, Kerouac-Cassady, there would have been no On the Road, no Beat Generation, and probably none of the Sixties Counterculture that followed."

Stewart, who became Dakota's friend during filming, says that Dakota's determination was obvious. "We had a few scenes that were crazy intimidating and maybe once or twice, she was like 'Okay, I have a butterfly in my stomach.' Meanwhile, I'm hyperventilating! Sometimes I give her shit for being so on the ball."

99 reasons we love Hollywood: #9-1

Holiday break is officially over, which means it's back to the office (boo!) and back to the regular bitchin' gossip (yay!). And it also means that our list of 99 reasons that we still love Hollywood must finally come to an end as well.

We've had a good run discussing celebs from Lindsay Lohan to Tom Cruise and everyone in between, the hottest shows (American Horror Story, anyone?), the best movies we've seen this year (Harry Potter) and the movies we just cannot wait for (Magic Mike), but we still haven't touched on the best of the best.

So we now provide for you, in a mostly particular order: The top 9 reasons we still love Tinseltown...

2. Kristen Stewart
Shall we count the reasons why? Firstly, Kstew's style. While it may have been all hoodies and oversized tees back when Twilight hit theaters, she's blossomed into a red carpet fashionista who makes the best of the Best Dressed lists with a tough-ass style that's all her own (that'd be grunge glam, duh). Secondly, she's not your average starlet - she's doesn't buy into the phoniness of this town and isn't afraid to be a little awkward or rough around the edges. And lastly, well, if we didn't have Kristen Stewart paving the way, we'd never have had Jennifer Lawrence or Rooney Mara or any other bad-ass babes that have popped up trying to nab the title of "the next Kristen Stewart".

How's vampire "life" treating Bella? How's the Volturi treating the Cullens? Oh, like you haven't already read the book. The only thing you don't know is how hard it's going to be to watch the last scene of the last Twilight.

3. Snow White and the Huntsman
Mirror Mirror, the other upcoming Snow White movie, has Julia Roberts, and that's swell, but this Snow White movie (and Kristen Stewart vehicle) has Charlize Theron, and she looks plain bad - in a very good way.
